The Race is On!!!

Due to ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic Concerns, the Stars and Stripes event will adhere to the following guidelines:

The race is going to be conducted in as safe a manner as possible. This means limited crowds before and after the event. Runners are required to wear a mask before the event and afterwards. They are not required nor recommended during the run.

Registration will be Online only. There will be NO race day registration in order to limit handling of payments and maintain distancing.

Runners will be allowed to start in groups of 10 based on race pace. Participants will be allowed to start every minute until all participants are on the course.

There will be water and gatorade available on the course. Runners are encouraged to run with a refillable bottle.

Water and refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the race, but there will be no awards ceremony. Winners will be announced after the race and awards will be available for pickup the following week.

Please be respectful of other runners and race personnel. We want everyone to have a great time, but we are under tight restrictions by local authorities to conduct this event. The success of this event will set precedence for future events.

About

The Stars and Stripes Half Marathon is a beautiful scenic course along country roads making it one of the fastest and flattest races you will find! Join your local Texas runners competing in the Half Marathon, 10K or 5k. All courses will start and finish at the Stars and Stripes Drive-In!

All of the courses are certified and every participant will receive a tech t-shirt and a race specific finisher's medal. For those participating in the half marathon, you will also receive a finisher's short sleeve shirt. And, as always, you will experience the outstanding volunteers and course support you’ve come to expect from the Texas Running Community.

We invite everyone to sign up - from beginners to elites - come out and set a record on this hot summer day! There will be cash prizes for the top overall male and female finisher in the Half marathon and gift certificates for the other event as well as awards for Master's and Age Group awards.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced runner, come out and join the summer fun! From one of the best courses you will find, to the amazing volunteers, swag, and, of course, the post-race celebration in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas, you are guaranteed a great event! Can't wait to see you there!

Athlete Tracking

We are pleased to share Live Runner/Participant Tracking and cheer sending are available for all races in the free RaceJoy mobile app! Carry your phone during the race to have people track you live on the course and receive progress alerts at every mile!

This is not required for timing as the race will be chip timed.

Aid stations with water, gatorade, and cold sponges will be available at every mile.

Special Virtual race pricing. Packets for virtual racers will be mailed after the race. Packet will include all swag and bib.

Special discount for groups of 5 or more. Each participant will receive 10% off of their registration.

Special pricing for the Half Marathon.
First 10 registrants are $50 and increasing for each 10 registrants by $5 until the offer expires on January 31.

Shirts are guaranteed if you register through July 14th.

There are NO refunds. Event insurance is available for purchase during registration.
