2021's race will start and finish at Hays High School! Early packet pickup and race day activities will be outside of Bales Gym, on the North end of the stadium. Enter the parking lot from the furthest north entrance of the campus. You will see the gym to the west of the stadium.

Online Registration will close on Tuesday before the race at 11:59 PM so we can prepare items for Packet Stuffing and Pickup. Walk-up registrations are welcome during packet pickup on Saturday morning before the race starts.

Join us for this community celebration benefitting the Hays Highstepper Booster Club.

A chip-timed 5k Fun Run/Walk and then a little .5K for those not quite ready for a 5K!

Walk up Registration is available on Friday at packet pickup outside Bales Gym and on race morning - see below for info!

NOTE: Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by 12/30. We make a best guess on ordering some extras so we do continue to ask for shirt sizes after the guarantee date. If having a shirt is very important to you, please register by 12/30

Entry Fees

$25 for adults (11 and over) and $15 for students 10 and under (discounted rate based on age will calculate during checkout).

$15 for .5K (all ages)

$15 for VIP Pass - just get a shirt, you don't even have to show up! You must register as a VIP by 12/30.

Special Divisions–

Top Dog – first three dogs across the finish line will be awarded a medal!

Stroller (with human passenger!) Pusher – first three across the finish line (male or female) will be awarded a special recognition medal! Participants in this division will still be part of the age group awards.

Start and Finish is at Hays High School, north end parking lot.

Prepare for the weather! Check the temps before you come and dress for your best race

Parking is limited -- carpool! Parking is allowed in the parking lots on campus.

5K starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp and is chip-timed!

.5K will begin as soon as all 5K participants are off the course.

Subs and changes can be made on race morning at the timing tent.

Yes, someone else can pick up your packet!

Online Registration will close at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday (or 4 days) before the race day in order to allow time to prepare items for packet stuffing! For example, if the race is on the 4^th, the online registration will close on the 1^st, at 11:59 p.m.! Walk-up registration is always available, by cash or check, at packet pickup (check times and locations under the Packet Pickup heading).

Awards ceremony will occur as soon as results are tallied.
