| Description: | The Pet Fest 5K and Fun Run will be run along the beautiful San Marcos River trails. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. The all ages Fun Runs will start at 9:00 a.m. The all ages Fun Run has 2 distances to choose from– 1 mile and ¼ mile. Well behaved dogs on leashes no longer than 6 feet are welcome to participate with their humans. The awards for the 5K are Paw Print medals. Dogs even have the opportunity to win a medal. All proceeds will be used by PALS of Central Texas to provide pet spay/neuter services to those who need assistance. |

| Course: | The race runs along the beautiful San Marcos River Trail. The trail surface is a mixture of concrete, gravel, dirt, grass, wooden bridges, and railroad track. |

Early Registration (postmarked or online by 9/21) Late Registration (after 9/21) Kids under 12 may participate in the Fun Run without receiving a t-shirt for $5.00. There is no fee for dogs All registered human participants will receive a T-Shirt. |
| Awards: |
In the 5K, the overall and masters male and female winners and the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group will receive Paw Print medals. The top 3 dogs running with female humans and the top 3 dogs running with male humans will receive medals. All children under 12 in the Fun Run will receive finisher's awards. |
