About

The Fredericksburg Wildflower 5K and 10K Run | 5K Walk follows a scenic course in and around Fredericksburg, Texas. 

The course begins and ends at Marktplatz downtown where parking and restrooms are available. 

All participants who pre-register will recieve a t-shirt.

 

TO ENTER

  • Pre-registration fee is $35 for walkers and $35 for runners per person with entries completed by April 19, 2024.
  • Late On-line registration will be $40 beginning on April 20, 2024, until April 25, 2024.
  • Children ages 5-12 who participate in either the run or walk will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes.
Race Day Schedule

08:30 AM - 5K Timed Run
08:30 AM - 10K Timed Run
08:35 AM - 5K Non-Timed Walk

RACE START

  • Stretch and pre-warm up is sponsored and led by fitness professionals from The Wellness Center at 8:00AM near the race start line.
  • The race begins at 8:30AM with a 5 min staggered start time for walkers, but we ask you be at the starting line by 8:30am.
  • Chip timing provided by Athlete Guild.

 

RACE FINISH

  • Upon completing your run and crossing the finish line, participants must continue moving toward the exit of the finish area to pick up a water bottle.

  • Full results can be viewed on Athlete Guild website under Fredericksburg Wildflower Run (https://www.athleteguild.com).

AWARDS

  • Awards will begin around 10AM under the Big Pavilion
  • Awards for 5k/10k run participants will be presented for male and female categories 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for both the 5K and the 10K run.
  • First place Top Male and Top Female in both the 5K and 10K runs receive a plaque.

There will be three opportunities to get your t-shirt & race bib number at theStevens Wellness Center:  1006 S State Hwy 16
