17th Annual 5K & 8K Timed Run, and 5k Walk sponsored by Fredericksburg Morning Rotary to benefit literacy and youth programs.
Proceeds from last year's walk/run funded many literacy and academic projects, including substantial donations for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, literacy projects of the FISD Foundation, and Hickerson Scholarship Fund. Thanks to your participation and dedicated sponsors we are able to fund these worthwhile projects and many more.

NOTE: This is an open road course. We have many volunteers at intersections - and are adding a couple police officers this year to help with athlete safety on the course. Our participation is growing, and we want you to understand an open road course means drivers will be on the same roads as participants. You may consider turning the volume down a bit if you wear earphones, so you can be more aware of any shouts or warnings from your fellow athletes or our course volunteers. Let's keep our 17th year as safe as the 16 years before it!
