The Riverside Nature Center experienced extensive flooding during the 4th of July Guadalupe River flood. The flood also caused extensive damage to the river trail where we have held the race in past years. We are currently working to come up with an alternative site and will most likely need to postpone to a later date. If the race cannot be held or is delayed, we will reach out to people who have already signed up.
In the meantime, please consider going to the Riverside Nature Center website below and making a donation. We need to pay for a new air conditioner, mold prevention, building a new fence along the river..and the list goes on!

Please join us for the 11th Annual 5K Run/Walk for the Riverside Nature Center. The date and location of this year's run is TBD. We are working with the City of Kerrville and hope to use a course in Kerrville-Schreiner Park one Saturday in November. Watch for details.
All proceeds go to benefit The Riverside Nature Center. Your support helps provide education programs utilizing acres of native plants, trees & rainwater harvesting, river trail access, exhibits, expert presentations on hill country living and volunteer opportunities.
