October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month. Nationally 1 in 4 females will be affected by domestic violence in their lifetimes. 74% of all Texans have experienced some form of domestic violence or have a friend or family member who has experienced it. Bexar County has the HIGHEST rate of reported domestic violence per capita in Texas, along with one of the highest in the nation. In the state of Texas, 1 in 3 women will be affected by domestic violence in their lifetime.
Designed for the entire family to run/walk/roll in honor of victims, survivors and all those who have lost their lives to domestic violence.
