About
The Bastrop River Rally Run will be held for Earth Day with runners on a scenic route along the Colorado River & over the historic Bastrop Iron bridge! Proceeds from the event will go the The Friends of The Lost Pines to support Bastrop State Park and to Keep Bastrop County Beautiful to support clean ups, recycling education, community pocket parks, adopt a street and environmental stewardship scholarships. Due to the width of the trails, the 5k race will be limited to 250 runners. About 100 yards are up a grass & gravel hill, so no strollers are allowed.
Race Day Schedule

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

7:00 am Packet pick up opens
7:45am – Race day packet pickup CLOSES
7:50am – 5k runners head to start line
8:00am – 5k race STARTS
8:50am – 1k runners head to start line
9:00am – 1k race STARTS
9:15am – 5k medal award ceremony

9:30 1k medal award ceremony and recycle tutu/ hat prizes

 

All 1k and 5k runners will get T-shirts, however a T-shirt is not guaranteed for late registration.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The 5k has about 100 yards off the paved trail running up a part grass & gravel hill.

Packet Pickup

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick Up:

Friday, April 20- 5 pm to 7:30 pm @ Academy Sports located at 749 Hwy 71 in Bastrop.

 

Race Day Packet Pick Up:

Registered runners can pick up their packets from 7 am to 7:45 on race day. Location of packet pickup will be next to race parking. This will allow runners to get their race packet and put any extra race packet items in their vehicle.

We will NOT delay the start of the race for late runners.

There will be No registration on Race Day.
