The Race to the Pantry is a fundraiser for the Community Resource and Recreation Center (CRRC) food pantry located in Canyon Lake, Texas. In 2020 3,482 households were provided food assistance to a total of 8,403 individuals. In addition, $102,144 in financial assistance provided felief for rent/mortage expenses along with electricity, water and propane.
This is the 6th Annual Race to the Pantry and due to COVID-19, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible, we will conduct this event virtually..
In order to support the CRRC food pantry, our virtual event can be run or walked at your convenience anytime between December 11th and December 18th. Participants can complete your chosen distance anywhere you choose, on a track, on trails, a treadmill or at your local fitness center. You can choose the degree of difficulty that fits your personal fitness level.

Since the event this year will be virtual, no overall or age group awards will be offered.
All entries will receive a finishers medal and a T-Shirt commemorating this what we hope is a once in a lifetime activity. The shirts and medals will be mailed to all paid entries as soon as possible but hopefully within 2 weeks of the race.
