High School Entry Deadline: Tuesday, September 20 at 11:59 PM on Direct Athletics. No late entries.
High School Entries: Entries will be done through www.directathletics.com. Varsity races limited to 10 runners per team per race. JV races limited to 20 runners per team per race. Limited to first 20 teams. Please email dchandle@stedwards.edu if your team will be attending. We reach capacity last year and expect the same again this year!
Entry Fee: $10 per High School runner entered. If paying by check make payable to St. Edward’s University. High School entry fee checks can be mailed in or at the latest submitted at check-in on race day. High School check-in will be open from 6:30am to 7:45am on race day. Receipts and race bib numbers will be in the team packets given at check in.
Race Site: Lake Kyle Park/Plum Creek Preserve - 700 Lehman Road, Kyle, TX 78640. Bus parking and spectator parking will be separated after you enter the parking area off Lehman Road. Follow signs and parking attendant’s directions. There is no parking on Lehman Road due to safety concerns. We will charge $5 per spectator vehicle. Please let spectators know. Additional parking is located at Steeplechase park just north of the race site. There are permanent bathrooms on site and there will be an additional portable toilets brought in.
Schedule: High School Varsity Girls at 8:00am, High School Varsity Boys at 8:45am, High School JV Girls at 9:30am, and High School JV Boys at 10:15am.
Chip Timing/Scoring: The timing and scoring will be done by Athlete Guild. The chips will be in the bibs. If there are any changes in the race (JV to Varsity or Varsity to JV) that a runner will be running in after the entry deadline, please email those changes to dchandle@stedwards.edu.
Course: The course is a mostly flat/rolling hills grassy terrain and is ideal for cross country! All races will be a 5k. *If it rains significantly we will use additional paved parking close by.
Awards: Medals for top 10 for each gender in each race. First place team in each High School race will receive a trophy. Meet results will be email to all coaches after the meet. One copy of the results will be posted at the conclusion of each race.
