Second Annual Sun Run. A Chip-timed 5k Run/Walk and Kids Dash
When:
Early Packet Pickup and Walk Up Registration, Friday, February 24, 3-6 p.m. at Science Hall Elementary cafeteria.
Race Day is February 25, 2017.
Race day packet pickup and walk up registration (credit card, cash or check) is from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.
The 5K starts at 8 a.m. Kids Dash will happen immediately following 5K medals (approximately 9:15 a.m.) and take place in the parking lot.
Where:
Science Hall Elementary, 1510 Bebee Rd, Kyle, TX 78640. Parking is limited; please carpool if at all possible.
How much:
5K - $25 for 13 and older ** $15 for students 12 and under
Kids Dash - $12 (12 and under only)
$12 for Sleepwalker (I just want a shirt!). Must register by 1/31/17.
Why:
Science Hall Elementary’s Student Council is a leadership group of 3rd-5th graders who do service projects within our school and our community. We are raising money this year to help build a new track and field for our school!
Extra Notes:
We are RAIN or SHINE.
Start and Finish is at Science Hall Elementary.
Prepare appropriately for the weather! Check the temperatures before you come, and dress for your best race.
Parking is limited -- carpool!
Race starts at 8 a.m. sharp and is chip-timed!
The awards ceremony will take place as soon as results are tallied.
5K awards: male and female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd -- 5 and under, 6-7,8-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, then 10 year age brackets to 60 and above.
All Kids Dash participants will receive a finisher award.
Online registration closes 2/21/17 at 5 p.m.
You must register by 2/14/17 to guarantee your shirt!
