Join us for the EXCITING, inaugural Splash Into Summer 5K / Kids K, benefitting the Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library. FONBL supports youth services programming including the Summer Reading Program!

The race kicks off a family-friendly event for all ages featuring inflatable games & waterslides, trackless train, engaging vendors, shopping, and food trucks, lasting until 1:30 PM. All race participants (Kids K or 5K) will receive a free wristband to the inflatable attractions zone AND a sparkly, custom finisher medal!

Race Day Schedule

7:30 AM Race day packet pickup begins

8:00 Vendors and food trucks open

8:15 AM Kids K begins

8:30 AM 5K Run/Walk begins

2:00 PM Vendors, food trucks, attractions end

The inflatable attraction zone opens at the conclusion of Kids K (approx 8:20-8:30)

Entry Fees

$25 - 5K run/walk
$15 - Kids K (under 12 only)

$20 - Sleepwalker/Supporter - Want to support the cause without getting up early? Can't be present? This is the registration for you!

$25 - Virtual 5K run/walk (includes medal - shipping in the continental USA is included)

Additional wristbands for inflatable games and waterslides are only $10 presale ($18 at the gate)

ALL PROCEEDS from the race (as well as all donations) will benefit Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library to go toward their youth services programming, supporting the summer reading program!

Award Categories

Custom finisher medal for the first 400 to register! (We will let you know when it gets close to selling out!)
Kids K (11 and under) will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards
5K Awards - Top Male/Female overall, Top Male/Female overall Master's, and 1st place Male/Female in age groups: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-99

Packet Pickup

RACE DAY Packet-pickup 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM

Optional EARLY packet pickup on Friday 5/21 at Two Rivers Running, 564 Comal Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130 - Time 5-7 PM

Additional Event Information

Each race participant (5K or Kids K) will receive a FREE inflatable attractions wristband in their packet.
- If you do not want yours, YES, you may pass it on to someone else.
- There will be a variety of inflatables games and waterslides for all ages.
- Participants MUST wear shoes at all times, except WHILE they're on the inflatables.
- Inflatables will be monitored, and all participants must follow the safety rules posted at the event.
5K will have one water station on the course. Water and snacks will also be available for race participants at the finish line.
Food trucks will be available after the race for you to purchase additional food & beverages
Alcohol is NOT permitted for this event
The engaging vendor event is FREE. Theme: SUMMER & KIDS!
