Coach's Big High 5K at Go Wheels Up Festival!
Many of us have been positively impacted by a coach, a teacher, or a mentor, who gave selflessly in order to help us reach a better version of ourselves. Whether it be through sports, school groups, hobbies, we had someone who helped instill a passion in us that stuck with us through adulthood. Coach's Big High 5k gives us all an opportunity to give back, say thanks, do something in remembrance, or join together with others who are grateful for their "Coach".
*We are calling an audible and Go Wheels Up and Coach’s Big High 5k are joining forces to make an even more epic event! We will be moving the location of Coach’s Big High 5k to San Marcos Airport to join in on the Go Wheels Up Festival! We encourage you to invite your coach - high school coach, current mentor, life coach, college advisor, teacher from the past or present - to join you at this first-ever Coach's Big High 5K! We hope to see you, and your family and your coach or special person, all at the runway to participate in Coach’s Big High 5k at Go Wheels Up!

Longest Drive Award - Coach/Teacher/Mentor who traveled the farthest to participate in the race.
Longest Run Award - Coach/Teacher/Mentor who with the longest tenure.
Stroller (with human passenger!) Pusher –
First three chipped strollers across the finish line will be awarded a medal.
Participants in this division will still be part of the age group awards.

It is a long and winding road to get to the parking area once you turn off Airport Hwy (Texas 21) into the main entrance of the San Marcos Regional Airport, address above. Stay on the main road and follow the signs to the parking area. You'll want to walk to the entrance gates from there. The race area is quite a walk from the parking area. We will have a semi-secure area where you can drop a bag. We say "semi-secure" because we are not responsible for anything that happens to your stuff!

There is plenty of parking.
Must register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline to guarantee receipt of shirt requested.
Shirt Guarantee Deadline is May 15th.
Extra shirts are ordered conservatively so as not to expend funds on shirts that could go to the cause. If having a shirt is important to you, please register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline.

5K is chip timed.
Early Registration will close 4 days before race day. Late Registration is available online and will remain open until Race Start Time.
No refunds, but you may transfer your registration to another person.
Packets may be picked up by another person.
All Registration Changes must be handled on race morning with the timing company.
If offered, Packets to be shipped will be shipped following the close of the race.
All packets not retrieved by the end of race morning will be donated to Hays Clothing Closet.
